Teething??????

is diarrhea, a runny nose and a cough all something that could be happening from teething or could it be something else? my son has 2 teeth popping through and he has never gotten diarrhea from teething before but he has had cold symptoms because of it, I'm just looking for opinions and personal experience stories.

Actually this sounds normal. When babies are teething they put everything in their mouths and chew on everything. This exposes them to more germs/viruses. So he probably picked up a small stomach virus from putting everything in his mouth
Reply:yes my daughter does the same thing two at a time and always has cold symptoms when they are popping through. He may be coughng because of the drooling....
Reply:I would definately say it could be from teething. All 3 of my children went through the same thing, and they also got horrible diaper rash whenever they were teething.
Reply:I have 2 children and both of them got diarrhea when they were teething. My son had it the worst of the two with a fever, runny nose, diarrhea, and drooling...
