Teething ?

my baby is 3 months and will turn 4 the 28th of this month.. hes has changed.. before he usto always be laughing and happy.. and now most of the time hes crying..and angry .he starts crying .. i try to rock him .. or give him his pacifier or give him milk .. but noting seems to work untill he gets tired of crying and just falls asleep.. this is my first child .. %26amp;%26amp; i really dont know whats wronq with him can it be teething maybe ?

I would think it is teething or maybe gas. Have you tried gas drops? As long as he is not having any other symptoms such as a fever, I would think that it is more than likely teething. Maybe you should try oragel when he starts crying like that or let him chew on something cold and see if that settles him any.
Reply:Could be teething. My son started about 3 1/2 months old and will be 5 months tomorrow. Didn't really start getting cranky until about a week ago. Be sure that your son doesn't have a fever because that is bad and if so call his doctor right away. I would try some baby oragel and see if that helps his pain. It works for mine. Reply:Does he like to bite the bottle nipples, maybe drools more than normal or are his gums a little swollen? these are all good signs that he is teething if so start giving him cold stuff to chew on and be patient this will pass in time! A couple of my favorite tricks are a wet rag frozen in the freezer or a frozen waffle.
Reply:If he has a slight fever every now and then, possibly he is teething. When you say milk, do you mean formula? B/c if its cows milk that could be the reason, its VERY hard for babies that young to digest cows milk. Other then that are you feeding him any baby foods yet? If you are keep a record of when and what you feed him and what time he starts to fuss. There is a possibility of food allergies.





Back to the teething, is he drooling alot? My daughter puts EVERYTHING in her mouth and chews on it, and she drools worse then a mastif! lol she wears a bib all day long its so bad...she is teething. Otherwise give your doc a call and tell then you are concerned...they should know! :) Good luck I know how bad it is to have a crying baby and not know what to do to help! :(
