Teething...?

What was the difference between when you baby got the bottom teeth to the top?

Did they act differently, if so, how?

Teething...?
I can't use my son as an example- he never got a tooth until he was 15 months old!!!

Our daughter- a whole new ballgame. She got the 2 on the bottom and I didn't realize they had poked through at first. Same with the 2 on top. Then, she got 5 in at once- and was really cranky.

She just cut her molars- she has 2 in on top and one just came through on the bottom. The other one is working it's way in.

Cranky? A bit as they break through. She does some night waking and comfort nursing with the teething. She is 15 months old now and is getting teeth pretty regularly.
Reply:I dont think my son acted any different between the two sets. A little fussy, a peice of ice in a toddler feeder with mesh worked best for him. Other than that, time was the best medicine =]
Reply:actually no...they came in later than my friends babies did, but my Dr says she is healthier because of it. and she had no problem cutting them, just one day they were there...cool huh?
Reply:I think it depends on the baby and how many teeth are coming at once.

For the first two bottom teeth, my daughter was a bit fussy, a few restless nights and they came through together. Boom! Done! Now it looks like the top four are coming all at once... and possibly the next two on the bottom! (She won't let me see!) They are taking FOREVER! She's been on and off cranky. I can usually distract her during the day, but at night she's a lot more sensitive to it. She's more fussy in general and seems a bit more tired than usual. I think it's worse because so many are coming at once.

I hear molars are the worst though! Can't wait!
