Teething..?

My son recently started teething..His first finally cut and im pretty sure the 2nd 1 is starting to work its way up. My ? is he seems to want to sleep ALL the time he naps 3x a day (which is normal 4 him) but his naps are usually almost 2 hrs. is this normal during teething? hes 7m btw. He sleeps from 7pm to 6-630 am. I dont know if he wakes up during the nite or not bc he doesnt cry so i assume hes sleepin.

Teething..?
Everytime my son cuts a new tooth he seems to get sleepier too. He also seems to sleep more when he is growing.
Reply:growing is what he is doing

dont worry it is better than crying
Reply:Teething has a lot of weird symptoms.... I wouldn't worry about him sleeping more often but you could always look up more side effects of teething in a parenting book or on the internet if you want...
Reply:That's totally normal, Mom, don't worry. Oh, enjoy the naps while you can. Lay yourself down and take a nap, too. It won't last forever.
Reply:wow!! thats a lot of naps!!!sleeping isnt gonna hurt him tho..if anything it will just give u more time alone.he's fine!
Reply:yes its normal..my daughter is doing the same thing shes 11 months old and just got 2 teeth...she takes 2-3 hour naps now and she sleeps a good 11 hours or more before she will wake up in the morning....enjoy it get stuff done take a nap hehe
Reply:leave well enough alone. your lucky, most babies who are teething are very difficult to deal with!
Reply:Yes and be glad he does or he would probably be crying! You are very lucky!!
Reply:Get him a teething ring and it IS normal for him to sleep a long time. That is the best way for him to cut more theeth sleep
Reply:Hi, mine was like that too. When she started teething, she wasn't cranky, god bless her...But she seemed to want to sleep more. So I let her. She normally sleeps alot of hours at night also, goes to bed at 9, and gets up at 9!
Reply:i dont think you should be concerned when my kids where smaller they would have periods where they would sleep a lot they say its when their growing your lucky that your child sleeps throught the night and unless your pediatrician has told u theres something wrong i wouldnt worry its just part f growing.
