About teething....?

my twins are both teething at the moment..i know sore bums are normal(being a mum of five)but i dont remember other details...do they go off their milk/food?and does their poo go runnier than normal...?or do i need to take them to doctor....


also can you tell me anyhting else i might have forgotton bout the teething process.....

My daughter went off her food almost completely for nearly a week, and also reversed her sleep schedule. I've heard they tend to go through more diapers (and worse messes) while teething, although that didn't happen with mine. And they can also get the headaches, and ear infections that are always mentioned.


I think each baby, and sometimes with each tooth, will go through something different. As a mother of five, you probably have great instincts about when something is seriously wrong. I'd keep a close eye on them for signs of illness/infection, like pulling at their ears, or throwing up (the obvious symptoms). Otherwise, I'd follow your heart, but if you still have ??'s or doubts about what's normal for them, then definately take them to the doc just to be sure. Always better to be safe than sorry when it concerns your kids!!
Reply:They can be picky with food due to it stings their gums. They also can end up with colds and earaches due to teething.
