Teething Symptoms????

My son is 11 months old and he has vomitted 4 times since morning. He had a fever yesterday for sometime, but today he does not have a fever. He is also coughing and when he cough's it seems his chest is full of cold, is this a sign of teething??

Sounds more like a cold or respiratory problem. You should consult a doctor if a child is vomiting.

Reply:I think he has some kind of flu virus. The only thing that usually happens when teething is a low grade fever and a lot of slobbering.
Reply:ok my mom, a mother of 4 children just said it is a sign! Try to give him some baby aspirin and some catnip tea to break the fever! Try some chamomile tea also just make sure it's room temperature you don't want him to throw it up! start looking or a teething ring ir try putting the tea as a soft ice pop form! or make some ice tea cubes! just keep holding him because he's going through alot. make sure he gets plenty of hugs and hold him!

Reply:you don't need this board. You need a pediatrician. Please take him in. My daughter never vomited, had diahrea when teething. She did have a rattling in her chest when she had croup! Take him in tomorrow.
