What to do with a Teething monster (toddler/baby)???

What are you remedies, coping methods of a teething child? My daughter never really cried, she drooled a lot. But now my son, who teethed HORRIBLY from 2-6 months (a long time) and got 8 teeth during that period, is now 1 year old and he is getting 4 molars.

He is fussy, screeches in public (even with Tylenol), is generally exhausting over it, and it lasts for weeksssssssss.

Tried a lot of the tried and true methods; teething gel, frozen foods, wet rag (probably my best bet), frozen things, teethers, teething toys, and homeopathic pills.

Any other suggestions/advice/or just feel good words?

Mt friend had this problem in desperation she went to the Dr he said as her son was a "big" boy the dose of Tylenol wasn't strong enough and as his sleep patterns had been disrupted for so long he had forgotten to sleep at night and had become over tired as well as teething pain. His advice was to double the dose on the bottle for four nights (nights only) to allow him to reestablish his sleeping pattern and he wouldn't be so grumpy in the day. This is unusual advice but it worked so my advice to you is see your Dr, have him check your child for ear infections common with teething and ask him for advice. good luck!
Reply:All you can do is wait and confort the child just a bit longer about 2-4 months at the most and you wont have to deal with it ever again. good luck
Reply:I used teething tablets with my son. My words of encouragement are cheer up he can only cut so many teeth before he starts losing them.
