Now dont worry im not trying to dope him up or anything lol.
I have gone down and once again bought another teething medicine but nothing seems to be working for long!
I gave him bonjela today and he slept for 20 minutes and woke up crying in pain again, i have tried Brauer Teething Relief and that hasnt worked either!
They keep giving me all this stuff but it never works for long and he is not sleeping at all. Is there anything that i can get over the counter that will reduce the pain AND help him sleep?
Im In Western Australia and i dont think you can get Tynol over here. I feel really bad for him but nothing seems to be working and i have tried soothing him and comforting him but he just cries. He is over tired from not being able to sleep and the chemist keeps giving me crap stuff!
Because it is his teeth i am not going to take him straight to the doctors just yet but i will tomorrow if i cant get hold of something that will help him.
Any Aussie Mums know of
Anything for teething that i can get in Australia that will help him sleep? Aussie mums!!!?
Hi There,
Sorry to hear he is havin a hard time.
Im in Adelaide and the Womens and Childrens Hospital do their own brand and it works great.
Maybe try the childrens hopsital in WA to see if they do something similar.
If not a trip to the doc might be a good idea as they can prescribe something a little stronger than Panadol for him if they think he needs it.
Good luck hope he feels better soon
Reply:My daughter is teething at the moment too. The chemist just told me bonjella and panadol - which doesnt work one bit! Otherwise they said I would have to go to the doctors for stronger stuff. She stopped crying after that so I never took her to the doctors. Everything you have listed is all there is I think, unless you go to the doctor. Then again your son is only little so they may not be able to give him anything. Sorry I cant be of more help but good luck!
Reply:Try baby panadol. (If you haven't already). It may help reduce the pain and therefore help him to sleep.
Reply:Well the simplest remody that will be effective, tasty and worthwhile would be bread sticks.
He can shew on em. They relive tention
Reply:At 9 weeks old Bonjela and Panadol are it. For older babies who have extreme teething pain they'll advise you to try Painstop, but even the daytime strength can't be taken under 12 months.
You just have to soothe the gums and the symptoms as much as possible, try facewashers dipped in icy water for relief.
