Infants and teething?
try hyland's teething tablets. Also if they take pacifier's, there is one made to comfort teething babies it's called Raz. It has a bumpy texture and you can chill it. These two items have saved my life!
Reply:oraljel...you can use the adult kind its just a little more strong, I've found this to work.....Tough though I know what your going through...My 16 month old is getting his molers..Ear infections can happen when they are teething also, so I would contact you physician to make sure they haven't developed this.
Reply:There is this thing at wal-mart called teething tablets, you find them in the baby section. There are no drugs in them ,it is all natural. I swear by those things. If it wasn't for those my mind would have ended up in the lost and found. Good Luck!
Reply:There are teething tablets. and teething gels you can use to numb the gums, try using your clean fingernail to lance the swollen blister around a tooth, then put teething gel on it right away, and keep putting it on until the tooth falls down enough to stay. also cold damp wash cloths work really well too.
Reply:Try Hyland's teething tablets (every grocery store I've ever been to has them). Also, oragel seriously saved my life several times!
Reply:baby anbesol is the best.it numbs their mouths ,for a while.you can also give them a cold wet face cloth to chew on.it works real well too.
Reply:my little one chewed on twizzlers. until she cut her teeth thru. she just gummed away. she couldn't bite any off and they don't break off and she loved the taste. the texture felt good on her gums too, i think. also, i got these mesh bags from wal-mart with a loop handle and put ice in it. they are made just for babies, and after the ice i put fresh fruit in it. she's 2 and she still uses those mesh bag things! she likes to eat ice so she eats it from there so she won't hurt her teeth biting ice cubes. but the twizzler thing WORKED AWESOMELY!!!
i just remembered. munchkin makes the mesh bags.
Reply:i give my son an unopened can of Pepsi he love it, and makes him feel so much better and he has 4 coming in at once, ouch! be sue to wash the can before you give it to them though, don't use alcohol back in the day they did but they stopped because babies can die from alcohol posing even from just a few drops, i figured some one would probably tell you that. oh also i let him chew on a clean bottle with out a nipple on it he likes the part that you screw on the nipple it helps break the teeth out good luck. wow twins i bet you do feel like your going out of your mind, i couldn't even imagine i have 1 and its hard enough.
Reply:Bonjela. That's what its called in Australia. This was my life-saver. My daughter got her first teeth at 5 months and was teething from about 3 months. You arent supposed to use bonjela until bubs is 4 months old so it was a great relief to her and me when she was finally old enough for it!
Reply:I would SWEAR by homeopathic teething drops!!! They are totally harmless even if baby drank the whole bottle, but they work like magic. I always used to let my babies just suck on the little eye-dropper while I was changing their diapers. Once I discovered them I never had a minute of teething problems. You can get them at health food stores that carry homeopathic remedies, or online at places like vitaminshoppe.com.
Reply:try giving them wet washclothes to chew on, maybe put ice chips inside it and wad it up.
Reply:Those Gerber teething cookies that melt or whatever so they don't choke- the baby loved, but was a MESS!
I would smash up some ice cubes and put them in a bowl for her to play with
Whenever I had the time I would rub my fingers along her gums, she loved it... (clean hands of course)
Reply:i have a 8 month old neice that is here all the time and she has 2 teeth, one appeared today. baby orajel works sometimes. my neice doesnt like teethers when they are cold. we give her a wet wash cloth and she will naw on it for a while, she doesnt fuss as much about her teething. it works for her. try it and see if your babies will like chewing on a wet wash cloth. hope i helped
