Babies teething?
So far with my daughter teething Tylenol has worked, when it gets worse I was told to use infant Motrin - a friend of mine said it worked great for her daughter when she was teething and couldn't sleep. Check with the pediatrician on the dosage.
Reply:Teething tablets they work miracles!
Reply:Give her some tylonel or baby motrin before putting her down for the night. The motrin esp worked wonders for my son!
Reply:oh gosh, this is going to sound bad, but I used Jack Daniels, DO NOT have them drink it. You dip your finger in it, shake your finger so she doesn't actually drink it, and rub it on her gums. Another method I used was vanilla extract. That worked also. or maybe just put your finger in their mouth and let them bite you? That helped my son for some reason, even though it REALLY hurts
Reply:well I would personally never do this it hink its crazy but you may have a diff opionon, But my husbands aunt, my dad, my step mom,my grandmother all belived and putting your finger in some jack daniels, and rubbing it on their gums, all it does is numb the gums!
Reply:Just do the Orajel..if it's teething. Make sure she is teething. A little Tempra might help if she's getting a fever from it. I don't agree with putting cold stuff in the childs mouth. Just let her chew on toys. Make sure the teething rings are clean, but never freeze them. They did that back in the 60s. You should on put them in the fridge, and only if the child finds it soothing.
Reply:Those little green onions you get at the store did the trick with my son and my daughters did well with potato slices that had been refrigerated. Just keep an eye on her so she doesn't choke if she does get a piece off.
Reply:Teething tablets are a Godsend.
They're homeopathic, and they are made with chamomile and lavender....They work like a dream.
They're put made by a company called Hylands, and you can get them at WalMart by the Pharmacy near the vitamins. If you can't find them, ask the pharmacist. They're very cheap...under 10 bucks.
Good luck!
Reply:Tylenol and Motrin are generally safe. Have him call his pediatrician for the dosage, though. The package doesn't give directions for anyone under 2 years old, if I remember correctly, and it's not safe to give the dosage for a 2 year old if she's younger than that.
Reply:Try that stuff still but when babys are teething it makes them sick. Give her some baby advil.
