Symptoms when teething?

I think my 19 month old son is getting his eye teeth. What arre common symptoms of that. He has had a nasty runny nose for about 4 days, and yesterday his eyes started watering pretty bad now he has a mid grade fever. Are these all common with teething or is he sick on top of teething. please.

sounds like allergies that have turned into a cold to me. My kids have mild allergies but then it ends up turing into a cold everytime.

Reply:My son went through exactly the same thing recently. It is quite normal.


My son really started having sever pains and fevers though. We took him down A%26amp;E one night and they recommended double dosing him with paracetamol, and giving him Piraton (analgesic to help him sleep).





Please please, do not do the same without checking with your GP/ Doctor first, every child is different...

Reply:my daughter is going through the same thing. Shes cutting both her bottom 2 eye teeth and 1 tooth beside the eye tooth together. She has been running a fever up to 102F, runny nose, and a cough for the last week. I thought it was due to teething but took her to her doctor on friday that said it was a virus.
