Teething tablets?

I know this girl that gave her 6 month old baby teething tablets, and now she has hives.

HOw could she get hives from that?

What can she do to make her more comfortable?

Teething tablets?
She's most likely allergic to an ingredient in the teething tablets. Have her talk to a pediatrician to determine which ingredient it is.

Have her take an oatmeal bath and just make sure she doesn't irritate the hives.
Reply:call the doctor or ask the pharmacist. maybe a small dose of childrens benedryl if they don't make infants.
Reply:You can get hives from anything. Teething tablets contain many ingredients and if the baby is allergic to one of them, hives could occur. She needs to call the baby's pediatrician and find out the appropriate dosage of baby/children's benadryl for her baby's weight. The ped may also tell her to take a cool bath or something like that - I'm not sure.
