My daughter is 2 months and 1week old and I think she is teething cause she does alot of chewing on her hands and when I try to feed her she chews on her nipple she drools alot and is very fussy. Is it possible she is teething at 2 months old? And how can I help ease the pain? Because my son was never this bad when he was teething so I really don't know what to do.
Is my baby teething?
It is possible, my son started around two and a half months and I have found teething tablets to work real good
Reply:there are teething rings that you put in the freezer and then you can give it to her so she can suck on it.
hm i dont know if she is old enough to use bonjela(teething gel) yet..but that really works too
Reply:Oooohhh lucky you! Teething is so much fun..lol
My daughter started teething at about 3 1/2 months and I remember all that drool!! She drooled more than my mastiff dog.. that says a lot right there!
Anyways.. I would try rubbing a wet, cold wash clothe on her gums or just take your finger and rub it along her gums. We never used the teething gel, they just drool it out within a few minutes anyways. We gave her the teething tablets or a drop or two of tyenol and they seemed to help her out a lot. My daughter now has 2 bottom toofers and she just broke in a top! Those pearly whites are so darn cute! Have fun, babies rock!
Reply:just give her infants Tylenol
Reply:Hyland's Teething Tablets work really great. They are all natural and are probably at the local pharmacy.
Reply:she is, my baby is doing the same thing the doctor said that some babys start teething at 2 to 3 months get her some theething rings at targer or they have these little rubber toys they arent that big like a 3 inch cookie and they just chew on it and like it, my baby drools alot when she has it but she likes it.
Reply:Oh yeah it is very possible my daughter did start teething at that age.
Go to your local chemist/pharmacy and ask them what you can give her im not sure but im fairly confident that my daughter couldnt have anything untill she was 4 months old
Reply:My son is now 4 months old and he started teething at 2 months ,your daughter seems to be doing the exact same thing my son is ,
My daughter now 6 yrs old never had teething problems , now w/ my son i been giving him a little tylenol for a fever / pain , i bought him a few different types of teething rings but he has problems holding on to them and tends to miss his mouth , i usually wet and/or freeze a little wash cloth and he does better w/ that , Also i bought him a sippy cup which i put a little diluted apple juice in and he chews on that along w/ a toddler teether ( its really nice it has a mesh net on it w/ a small handle so it easier for my son to grip and you can put crushed ice , chopped raw veggies or fruits in it w/ NO choking hazzard and they can chew at that ) i tried some orajel on my son but it only tends to work for a short amount of time and any liquids wash it off his gums, im going out tomorrow to buy him some teething tablets .. i hear they work well and they are all natural :) Good Luck :)
