I think my little guy is teething, he cut his first two teeth five weeks ago and the last couple of days he has had what seems to be a deeper chestier/congested cough and a bit of dryness from a drippy nose. He seems happy in his demeanor...so is this likely teething do you think? The cough just seems chestier than I would have though if it was just excess saliva..but I guess the saliva can creep into his lungs eh???
Teething and a chesty/congested type of cough and crusty nose?
How old is your baby? I am going through the same thing with my daughter. It seems that she has so much saliva in her mouth she coughs. She is only 4 months.
Reply:yeah mine got ear infections and chesty coughs when teething
Reply:If he's coughing, even though acting fine, it'd be a good idea to get his pedi to check him out just to be sure he's not developing anything (a cold, RSV, allergies, etc).
Reply:sometimes when babies get teeth they have no symptoms at all actually. So, it may or may not be teething
Reply:this is defo teething i just use a good chest cough lictus and keep wiping the nose
