Granddaughter is teething she also developed twitching of her head dr says its the pressure has anyone heard?

my grandaughter 8 months old is teething the twitching of her head ive never heard of with teething we have a family history of epilipsy and it looked like a piti small seizure we brought her into the hospital she was fine ,have any of you had the preasure of teething cause head twiching

I'd make an appointment with a neurologist just to be on the safe side.





Mention the family history to the doctor. They should take it VERY seriously if they know.

Reply:Teething does cause sinus discomfort and she may be feeling it in her ears. The doctor can check her ears for fluid build up. Since there is family history of epilepsy you are right not to ignore it and I don't blame you for being worried.
Reply:get a second opinion right away, if it is something serious it better to catch it now, go to a doctors office and get referred to a specialist don't go to the E.R. they only treat and street people they don't help if it is not a life or death situation
