My son will be 3 months next week and he is already teething. I can see the tooth coming through. How can I calm him down? He doesnt even want the teething ring. How can I help him?
Teething help?
Hylands teething tablets. The Pharmacist looked at them and said they were perfectly safe (my daughter was on 2 meds for chronic conditions already). they seemed to help. Rub the gums with clean finger. Tylenol, with your docs approval.
Reply:my daughter is almost 4 months, her thing was chewing on blankets, and my hands or her dads hands. also, all natural teething tablets really gave some good relief
Reply:Have you tried a cool washcloth? That worked with my friends baby who wouldn't take a teething ring. She would get it wet, stick it in the refrigerator for a little while and then give it to her daughter to chew on.
Reply:I'm on here looking for this exact same solution. My son is 4 months and doesn't like cold things.
So far the pacifier has been working pretty well. He chews the heck outta that thing.
I've been walking him and letting him chew on the bottle nipple too. If it doesn't get better or he gets a fever, I'll give him some infant's Tylenol.
A nice warm bath might help calm him too.
Reply:infant tylenol and infant ambesol.
Reply:Wash and dry you hands and massage his gums gently with your finger, give Tylenol, Advil, etc. whatever your doctor recommends for pain.
Reply:i think that the best thing to do is put baby oragel on it to numb the pain and use a frozen carrot of waffle it is easy to find and the baby cant hurt itself. It is IMPORTANT that you dont let her break off pieces of the carrot though. Here are some other great tips:
a teething aid, such as a wet washcloth, teething rings, etc.
teething biscuits
massaging or rubbing your baby's gums
a pain reliever, such as acetaminophen or ibuprofen (if your infant is over six months old)
teething gels, such as Baby Orajel Nighttime Formula, Little Teethers Oral Pain Relief Gel, Baby Orajel Fast Teething Pain Relief, Baby Anbesol Oral Anesthetic Gel
teething tablets
hiking boots
