Teething Help Please??

My daughter is 8 months old and has just finally cut her first tooth but I have done absolutely everything to help her. She doesn't like her teething rings,or a cold cloth. I have her baby tylenol but I don't like to use it all the time I only use it when needed. She like her teething cookies. I was just wondering if you know of any other tricks that could do to help relieve her of pain?

Teething Help Please??
you could try rubbing her gums with your clean finger try letting her suck on a popcycle or a sucker but with ur supervison of course.also let her chew on anything hard that wont harm her whatever it is she enjoys a plastic spoon etc anything that she cant swallow or bite off and choke on. our 9 month old loves suckers and popcycles and she has 2 teeth on the bottom she doesnt really chew on teething rings either. she likes my plastic serving spoons and she likes to have her teeth rubbed and gums with a clean finger. hope this helps and good luck also have you tried oragel.
Reply:Go to your local pharmacy and ask them for the new teething tablets that are pretty new they worked wonders for us.
Reply:Have you tried Orajel to rub on her gums? That might help.

If she likes the cookies and they aren't full of sugar...let her have them.
Reply:cold mini carrots straight from the fridge, frozen oranges.

dip your finger in Bourbon and rub her gums. has a soothing, cooling effect.(just dip, dont try to feed the Bourbon to her)
Reply:I used baby orajel and motrin/ tylonol before bed. He just chewed on teething toys (not cold) and wasnt too bad during the day. He did have 1 teether that he liked. it was a ring of bubbles. He didnt really like the ones shaped as things.
Reply:I found a teething pacifier in Walmart that looks like a raspberry. It has bumps on the pacifier part and the base looks like leaves on a round stem... It is really cute and the ONLY teether my son will use. I have included the link of a website that has a pic of it... Oh, and my son also likes to suck on frozen green pepper tops. You know how when you cut the top off and then de-core it it has the little pockets that catch drool :-) He likes the taste of the pepper and the coldness. Hope this helps!
Reply:My son loved a cold pealed carrot. I didn't want to try the mini ones because I didn't know if he would choke on them. Just keep an eye on her because if they have the carrot long enough they start getting tiny bits off with their new little tooth!

Last tip put a bib on because after my sons carrot his onsie had an orange tinge to it. ;-)
Reply:Hylands Homeopathic teething drops... I swear by them! almost instant relief, and perfectly safe.... they are in a lactose base though, so if dairy intolerance is an issue check first with your pediatrician. Also, she needs to chew on things A LOT.... when pressure is placed on the gums (such as her biting down on something hard) it releases a chemical that soothes the pain. You could try frozen waffles, my friend said her son loved that. Good luck! :)
Reply:I feel your pain! It seemed like nothing helped my son.

My doctor told me to cut up a banana freeze it then give it to your baby. I tried it but my little guy doesn't like bananas. I tried the teething tablets... doesn't work just a waste of money. The only thing that seemed to help at all was either a cool wet wash cloth or baby oraljel.
