Teething Remedies for a 5 month old?

My 5 month old is teething and will not eat her formula. She is chewing on everything. I gave her a cold wash cloth and she seems to like that. Has anyone used those teething tablets? Do they work? Or any other advice on how to get a teething infant to eat.

teething tablets work great.. at least try them out, (they're cheap) to see how your baby reacts to it.

DO NOT use the numbing gel, it has been caused to numb the babies throats and can cause them to choak.

When he/she is hungry, they will eat. During the teething period, your baby eatting pattern is thrown off.
Reply:Use BONJELA cream to somehow lessen the gum itching... i don't know if ot's available in your country.
Reply:well for different babies different things work, a lot of times those chew toy things that you can buy for the baby that looks like a dog toy but really isn't work, and also like you said a wet warm washcloth works too.
Reply:Mine didnt eat either.Dont worry about it. teething tablets dont work.Oragel for kids helps them forget the pain for about an hour.
