Teething help please!?

I have used teething rings, frozen waffles, frozen washcloths, ice, hylands teething tablets, and infant tylenol. The tylenol seems to take the edge off but any other ideas? None of the other stuff are helping.

Teething help please!?
I have to alternate between motrin and tylenol. THe motrin seems to help the pain much better than the tylenol for some reason.

edit- why did I get a negative?? 2 or more ppl below me said the same thing? :(
Reply:Unfortunately, time. My daughter had similar problems with teething. Nothing calmed her. Try using something other than Tylenol. I find baby's motrin works longer. She liked to chew on my finger too.

Good luck!
Reply:One thing I never see mentioned that works well here is distraction. My daughter is cutting new teeth right now, and today I spent an awful lot of time "having sillies," making ridiculous faces, noises, etcetera, getting giggles out of her so she'd forget she was supposed to be whinging about her gums...
Reply:i find the infant motrin works much better than the tylenol. good luck. teething stinks.
Reply:Instead of hylands try Humphreys brand of teething pellets. They sell them at Walgreen's they work way better than the highlands. Also these work best if during the bad days you give them before it gets really bad. Motrin works way better for my 10 month old than Tylenol and she will have nothing to do with teething rings. Also she likes me to wet a tooth brush and rub her gums with it hope this helps.
