Teething and cold symptoms?

I have heard many many things about this: Teething doesnt have symptoms like a cold. or Teethings symptoms mimick a cold etc...heres my dilema: My son (13months old) is getting 3 teeth in at a time. Hes not cranky at all and it doesnt seem to be bother him. But, its bothering me! I can see them all coming in, but he has got this horribly runny rose, sneeze, and cough. No fever tho. Thing is, we live in NY(not NYC) and we are at my mothers in Maine visiting. She works in a daycare which my son does not attend. Do you think that she happened to bring the cold bug back home and he caught it, or does this look like teething symptoms?

Teething and cold symptoms?
Ok it could be from the cold but the best way to tell if he is sick is to look at the color of what is running out of his nose. If it is clear, he is fine. If it is yellowish then he may be sick with something else. Hope this helps!
Reply:It sounds more like a cold to me than symptoms from teething. Usually when they are teething, they may get a clear runny nose.
