Reply:So does my 6 month old but no teeth yet.
Reply:It could be, some babies get teeth "early". But some of the symptoms of teething are normal baby things. I thought my daughter was teething for 3 months, finally she got a tooth...
Reply:Yes it very well could be that your baby may be teething. My daughter started showing signs at the same age and had her first tooth at 4 months. All children are different, but when I was a child I started teething early and had all my baby teeth before 1 years old and my daughter did the same.
Reply:Drooling is not a good sign of teething if this is one of your symptoms. I had one daughter who never stuck anything in her mouth, if you can believe that, and never drooled, cut her teeth without so much as a tear. My second daughter has chewed everything she could grab, drools all the time and is a major fuss bucket. She only cut her first tooth at 9 months old and we had many sleepless nights. Fever and earache aren't good signs either. If your baby has a fever, call the doctor. When the teeth are about to come through, you will see tooth shaped lumps in the gums. Try freezing a wet washcloth for a chewie.
Reply:My son started showing signs of teething but no swollen gums either. 3 weeks after that started his first tooth is breaking the skin. He's getting a upper molar in first. I never thought to look up there b/c I thought he'd get one on bottom first. One day he was crying and I saw it.
Reply:it could take months for a tooth to come through unfortunately!
