My 6 1/2 month old has been pretty much crying all morning and chewing on everything. Does anybody Else's baby cry all day when there teething? I have given Tylenol, teething ring and orajel.
Teething Question?
When my son cuts a new tooth he cries all the time and is super fussy, chews on everything in site and has an almost completely wet shirt from all of the drooling. He usually nurses more so i let him as much as he wants to, he doesn't care for teethers but he does have a pacifier that he only ever uses to chew on at home when teething. Also i give him hylands teething tablets during the day when needed, put ice in the mesh feeders or freeze some applesauce and feed it to him and that helps sometimes and then he gets tylenol before bed. Hope your little one feels better soon.
Reply:My baby is 7 1/2 months old and we are going through the same thing right now. She doesn't really cry all day, but she fusses mostly all day. She just wants to nurse all day and be held. I try to put her in the same room as me and just love on her a lot. I mean, I know it's gotta hurt. The Tylenol should kick in pretty soon and start to help a little. If you have a swing, try putting your baby in it. My baby still loves hers and it helps a little. Good Luck.
Reply:I have heard that some babies will run a slight fever, and also get diarrhea when teething....and crying of course! Also, my sister in law also told me that my nephew was very clingy when he began to teethe. Good luck!!
Reply:Luckily my daughter is not bothered by teething but a close friend has a baby who really suffers and she swears my the medicine called Mediced!
