does anyone have any experience with their babies throwing up while they were teething....i know he is teething and lately he has been throwing up enough that he is hungry about 2 hours after he eats.....he isnt running a fever with it and he isnt congested or coughing.....so he doesnt have any signs of being sick, he just throws up a lot.....i know some babies get diarreha when they teeth is it possible that throwing up goes with teething as well....
Teething question?
It may be he's swallowing a lot of saliva. My son drooled a lot, and I do mean alot. Some people get sick to their stomach when experiencing pain. It could be that. If he loses appetite or develops a fever then make a sick appointment. A question..is he vomiting directly after eating? He could be developing symptoms of GERD. . .Gastroesophageal reflux disease. It's something to consider asking the pediatrician.
Reply:Make sure you keep a close eye on him tonight because he is more likely to show signs of sickness at night. And my daughter never threw up from teething.
Reply:thats normal
that happen to my nephew and what u can do for him is to have him chew on the teething ring so relief
Reply:I've had experience with my children getting fevers and diahrea when they were teething, but never vomitting (not to say that it could not be from teething, though). Has he thrown up a lot BEFORE he started teething? Are you sure he might not have acid reflux or anything in that nature? Try elevating his head while he is sleeping. He could also be having some sort of reaction to any medicine that you are giving him for the teething. I would take to your pediatrician.
Reply:My son never had this. I do know that when they do teeth, they produce more saliva. My son was very congested and had a hard time coordinating breathing and drinking from a bottle but never threw up. How old is he/she. Perhaps it is just reflux? If he is becoming more mobile, sometimes they just need to sit still for a little while after the bottle/food.
Reply:Thts normal, cus the baby cant really digest food to well while their teeth are so sensative. that is like grown ups with a toothache.
Reply:Could be acid reflux. My daughter had reflux and puked during teething also, check with your dr make sure it is not reflux there is medicine to cut down on the throwing up it won't stop but cut it down.
Reply:My son is teething right now too and we haven't had any throwing up. I have heard that since many objects are going into their mouth right now it is possible to pick up more germs so maybe he just has a little stomach virus. If he isn't running a fever or getting dehydrated he is probably fine. Call your doctor if you aren't sure.
