My 6 month old got his first tooth august 13th, and his second 10 days later.. He's never been a good sleeper, but for the past 3 weeks he would make it untill 5am with no problem, now all of a sudden he's waking up every couple of hrs.. I don't offer the bottle, i just give him a passy, or pick him up if he wants to. it doesn't take him long to go back to sleep.. he's been doing this for the past 3 nights..
i wonder if this is a sign of his top teething coming through? we also started feeding him dinner of veggie and evening cereal, but as i can recall, he slept fine after it.. I wonder which one is bothering him?
for teething, i do give him orajel, tylenol, teething tablets ( not all at once of course ) But thats only temporary relief.. so during the day i just give him a cold teething ring..
So does this sound like teething pain? Is it about the time his next set of his pearly whites?
Hmm.. teething?
If you are in the USA Walmart carries teething tablets ( in the baby dept ) they are the most wonderful thing I have ever seen, my Grandson has 10 teeth now and never a problem, every parent needs to try these, by the way they were recommended by her pediatrician.
Reply:Yeah, it sounds like teething to me.
Reply:If he begans to get fevers maybe he's teething. A home remedy is to place a egg in a sock and hang it over his room door.
Reply:Well it could be alot of things. But it also could be the age. All of my friends and I have noticed around 6 months of age, even if the kiddos werent teething yet, they start switching up their sleeping schedule. And they actually do sometimes get hungry during the night, so if he ever does wake up and you can't get him soothed with just a paci, I would give him a bottle.
