Teething and congestion?

I think my 4-month old is teething. He is drooling up a storm and bites on his hands--on anything he can get those hands on! He developed congestion yesterday. It runs clear and he has no fever. I know that doctors do not like to associate congestion with teething, but has anyone ever experienced congestion as a symptom of teething?

Thanks!

Teething and congestion?
yeah it is normal they get uckie poopies too ones that produce bad diper rash so watch for that
Reply:my son is going through the same thing right now and so is girl friends baby. i never put those two thing together though. teething at 5 months and 7months fun times
Reply:Its very common when babies are teething. He may even start to run a slight fever when the teeth are erupting. Give him Tylenol or children's Motrin and it will help keep him comfortable. Those teething rings that you put in the fridge also help.
Reply:Yes that sounds like teething. I found that Teetha works well for the pain relief. My baby was a dribbler too. For the dribble I would highly recommend the Dribblebuster. It is a smart accessory that catches and soaks up the drool preventing baby's clothes getting wet but is smaller and smarter than a bib and doesn't hide your baby's lovely outfits.
