Teething or Food Allergy?

My son is 5 mos old. How do I tell the difference between teething or if it's a food allergy? He has the diarreah, diaper rash, face rash, %26amp; irratibility. I know these symptoms go along with teething. What are symptoms of food allergies? He's only had Peas, Green Beans, Bananas, Applesauce, %26amp; Peaches. We gave him one food per week, but I don't know if it's teething or if it could be an allergy to something he's eating. Any suggestions?? Thanks!

Teething or Food Allergy?
My daughter has food allergies. The reaction that she got as a baby was hives (little bumps that look like masquito bites), diarrhea, irritability, asthma symptoms, a runny nose, and watery eyes. She also had a little diarrhea when teething, but not the rash on her face. Look into her mouth and see if you see any bumps or little white spots. Has she been trying to chew on everything? That is another main sign of teething.
