My 2nd son is about to pop his first tooth, he is almost 6 months old, he is having an awful time teething, crying so hard that he pops blood vessels in his eyes! Anyone else had these problems%26gt; My first son teethed real easy so i am kinda going crazy and feeling sorry for my poor baby!
So any teething stories are appreciated
Teething stories please?
I gave my kids frozen carrots and celery. It gave them the coldness with flavor so they enjoyed them more then those old teething rings. When they were old enough I added chicken leg bones and pork chops and rib bones to the list. They enjoy having the flavor. Make sure you keep a close eye on them if you give them the bones. Don't let them suck/chew on them for too long. Good luck.
Reply:Give him some tylenol and a cold wash cloth to chew on. It helps... u can also rub his gums with your finger.
Reply:Tylenol and give him a frozen teething ring to chew on. Lots of hugs. The little guy's in pain.
Reply:I crushed ice and put it in a face washer for my son to chew on.
Also I use Hylands Teething Tablets.
Also before he has a bottle give him a pain reliever 30 mins before because sucking on a bottle will hurt his mouth.
Reply:I think my little 4 month old is teething. She doesn't have any popped yet but shes going crazy. Lots of screaming and crying and night waking. She also bobs on and off when feeding. I cant wait to see a tooth just for a little validation that thats what is really going on. She drools like crazy and cant stop chewing on everything. Plus her little cheeks are all rosy.
Reply:My wife and I gave our kids Delabarre when they began teething.

I hope this helps.
Reply:Three nights ago, my husband and I were up until 3:00am because Ethan's top teeth are coming in and he wouldn't sleep unless we were holding him. It was hell. Finally, we gave in and just let him sleep in bed with us. When he gets so miserable, though, he refuses his pacifier (we think it hurts his gums) which makes it worse, because generally the pacifier is the only thing that will calm him!
So, the only thing I've found that helps is baby Tylenol and snuggling all night. :)
